Morgan really loved the canoe in Canadian art exhibit at the McMichael Gallery near Kleinburg. She only made it through one gallery because she was so focussed on every painting as she came to it. No fast skim though for this girl.

Fortunately for us the show date was extended by two weeks. I think we went on November 5 or something like that. I'd love to post some of the paintings, but I'm sure that would be an infringement on the artists' rights. I do have the catalogue, however, so you could come over and see it if you like. Maybe I'll ask for permission and start a seperate, canoes in art page.

Never one to miss an opportunity to mess about with a canoe, Morgan joined us in protesting "the haircut man" (Mike Harris) and the plans to hand over almost all Crown Land to mining and logging interests.

It seems that we were fairly successful is changing the government's mind on this one. It was also a lot of fun.
