Morgan's Home Page

Catching up. Catching up. It seems like there's never any time. This is especially true lately. Morgan moved into a higher gear a couple of weeks ago and has been wearing me out. Just when I think things are under control all hell breaks loose again. (I'm sure things will be even more entertaining when Morgan has a sibling -- no, this is not an announcement, just a musing.)

Morgan isn't walking yet, but is fairly close to figuring it out. She can stand on her own momentarily and once she figures that out, there won't be any slowing her down. Sigh. ;-)

She likes virtually all food as long as it isn't pureed. Curry, chili, split pea soup (vegetarian of course), kiwi, corn -- she just a big fan of food. She still likes breast milk to go with it and that suits us just fine.

Morgan will be heading out on her first canoe trip at the end of May with her dad, Uncle Dave, and Aunt Heather (Godparents). She's all set with her own wet suit and life jacket. No paddle yet, but I doubt she's up to it anyway.

That's it for now. You can find her old web pages here ----> [January 1996] [August 1995]

Still Christmas

Morgan and Kaitlyn hanging out at Grandma & Grampa's place. Shortly after this photo they both went outside, ran around the pool and barked with the dogs.

"I could have danced all night" [photo]

Morgan and her Great Aunt Sybil dancing after supper one night. Shortly after this photo they both went outside, ran around the pool and barked with the dogs. Why do you say, "strange family"?

"Be kind to your parents, they're very confused"

Morgan and her Auntie Amy are having a tete-a-tete about parent-rearing. Morgan considers the mouthing potential of beads on a string.

not-so-Little Women [photo]

A valiant effort on Morgan's part to fit the index fingers of her aunt, godmother, and mother into her mouth at the same time.

Wet Baby

Morgan pulls a face for the crowd as Sally Boyles, our parish priest, baptises her on January 7, 1996. Her godmother Anne (as seen above) sang a song she wrote for the occasion. Dave & Heather, two more of Morgan's four godparent's gave Morgan the ultimate baptism present -- a life jacket -- and can be made out in the background. Trudy, yet another godmother, preached the homily. Morgan's father caused trouble by using BAS texts against the will of the almighty Text Committee.

Burn, baby burn. Disco inferno.

Here we have Morgan in a shawl that belonged to her GrandDad and fixated on the candle in front of her. Morgan found her baptismal candle flame so fascinating she wanted to touch it. Although she was unsuccessful, her efforts forced some juggling before we could proceed.

Morgan as the anointed one of God. She's been insufferable ever since.

Grandmas Galore

Morgan with her three Grandmothers. From left to right: Grandma Miriam, Grandmama Lynn, and Grandy (GrandD, Grandma D?). Stay tuned for Great-grandmothers next time: Grandmama, Nana, Nan, Grandma Norma.
