The year 2000 is about to shuffle out the door and we've had some real changes around here. I'm working as an employee for the first time since 1993 and we have a new addition to the family: Liam Richard Elliott Baskin Nunn. Another kid with a mouthful of a name. (I figure that as long as their names aren't any longer than the Windsors, we're OK.)

We're already thinking about the canoeing for the summer and have done a bit of snowshoeing and plan for more. In spite of what the media seems to keep saying, I think it's been a good year weather-wise. we got some water in the rivers this summer and we've got some snow in Toronto that wants to stay. Good by me!
